Resource Management

The Development Strategy of the Group is fundamentally connected to the objectives of HSE management. A key initiative outlined in the Ada Petroleum LLP Strategy-2028 is the enhancement of environmental responsibility. The group's priorities for environmental protection encompass the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions and flaring, the management of water resources, the minimization of production waste, land reclamation, and the reduction of energy consumption. The "Environmental Policy" was ratified in alignment with the Strategy's objectives. Ada Petroleum LLP, along with its subsidiaries and affiliates, maintains a zero tolerance policy regarding losses and damages associated with environmental pollution. In 2024, the revised Environmental Policy was implemented. The Ada Petroleum LLP Environmental Policy has been refreshed to comply with the stipulations of the new Environmental Code, which ensures the collection, accumulation, storage, analysis, and dissemination of environmental data. Additionally, the obligations of the Oil Company concerning the responsible use of natural resources and compliance with conservation measures have been broadened.

The Health and Safety Policy of Ada Petroleum LLP is founded on the commitment of top management to occupational health and safety, promoting employee participation in the development of a safety culture. The management of Ada Petroleum LLP and its subsidiaries enforces a "zero tolerance" policy towards accidents and incidents that lead to losses or damages, and it is dedicated to adhering to both national and international standards, along with relevant local regulations. The Alcohol, Drugs, and Psychotropics Policy, as well as the Safe Driving Policy of Ada Petroleum LLP, emphasize the importance of an employee's life and health, prohibiting the use of alcohol, drugs, and psychotropics to avert road accidents, lessen their consequences, and minimize property damage.

Guard & Crisis Management

Safety is crucial and a fundamental requirement of employment for both employees and contractors, integrated into every facet of the refining process. The refinery firmly believes that accidents and injuries are preventable, acknowledging the significance of safety excellence in achieving long-term commercial success. To mitigate losses, Ada Petroleum LLP adopts a comprehensive strategy that encompasses all HSE, EH, and QAE issues (HSEQ). To cultivate an Incident and Injury-free (IIF) working culture at Ada Petroleum LLP, this approach includes nurturing interpersonal relationships and promoting genuine concern and care among all employees. Additionally, regular engagement with senior management enables employees and contractors to voice their safety concerns. Ada Petroleum LLP also encourages a culture of behavior-based safety participation among its employees and subcontractors. All employees are urged to take ownership of their own safety and well-being, as well as that of their colleagues, through peer review and mutual observation.

Industrial Welfare

Our primary objective, as stated in our occupational health, safety, and environmental policy, is to lower workplace accidents and injuries in order to safeguard workers, avoid health issues, lessen the environmental effect of our operations, and enhance Ada Petroleum LLP's reputation and image. We continue to try to improve our safety culture, reinforce top management's commitment to health and safety issues, boost employee rights and capacities (including the power to stop work that they believe is being done unsafely), and discover the underlying factors that lead to accidents.

Our company's occupational safety and health culture has greatly improved, and we have increased reporting transparency by more than 450 percent. Ada Petroleum LLP joining IOGP will be the next step in achieving more transparency since it will facilitate the sharing of expertise and information. Through training, sharing of knowledge on lessons learned among the group of firms, and incident prevention and accident investigation based on root cause analysis, the LTIR benefited. To find areas for improvement in occupational health and safety and to lower the frequency of incidents, we keep comparing ourselves to other oil and gas firms through the International Organization of Oil and Gas Producers, or IOGP.

Chemical Safety

Ada Petroleum LLP places a high priority on process safety management in order to fulfill its Health Safety Environment & Quality Policy aim of "No accidents, no harm to people, no environmental damage, and 100% customer satisfaction." To stop any Loss of Containment (LOC) accidents, a stringent process safety management system is in place. Ada Petroleum LLP is a strong proponent of improving process safety performance by using lessons from past mistakes. In addition to lessons learned from events at other external refineries, thorough investigations of internal LOC and near-miss accidents are used to find and implement improvement opportunities.

Additionally, Ada Petroleum LLP offers monthly training sessions to enable our staff members learn more about Process Safety. With close collaboration between Ada Petroleum LLP and its industry peers as well as the regulatory bodies who are in charge, process safety performance is meticulously assessed and reported in order to establish a safe working environment for all of our refinery employees. We are aware of the impact our operations have on the environment and atmosphere, as well as how we contribute to local, regional, and global climate change. We are therefore concentrating on creating a plan for controlling and lowering air pollution as well as assessing the viability of incorporating innovative initiatives and technologies. We strive to adhere to national and international environmental rules in terms of greenhouse gas emissions.
